Video: Boundaries of the femoral triangle

Picture this.. A sailboat on a blue sea, its triangular sail flapping in the wind… Lovely isn’t it? Well.. snap out of that because today we are going to learn about the boundaries of the femoral triangle, and we’re going to use this sail to help us out!

Not only does this sail show us the exact shape of the femoral triangle, it also tells us what its boundaries are! Let’s see...It just so happens that:
S: stands for the Sartorius muscle which forms its lateral border
A: for the Adductor longus muscle which forms the medial border and
IL: for the Inguinal Ligament which forms its superior border
