Is there a mobile version of Kenhub?

Are you looking for a Kenhub app? First, you should know that Kenhub is already fully responsive on mobile devices (it adjusts to all screen sizes). This means that you can use Kenhub on your mobile just as seamlessly as you would on desktop and tablet.

However, there is also a neat way to use Kenhub as a web-based app (just like a mobile app) on iOS and Android - and it only takes a matter of seconds to set-up. Intrigued? Read on.

How to use Kenhub like an app 

When using common mobile web browsers like Google Chrome, Opera, Firefox, and Safari, you can save Kenhub as a web-based app to your mobile home screen. This allows you to use the Kenhub website without the clutter of the browser URL bar and buttons on your screen.

Having Kenhub on your home screen allows you to access the website quicker and more efficiently - and what anatomy student doesn’t want to save time?

Guide for Android devices

Here’s how to install the app using some of the most popular Android web browsers.

Google Chrome

  1. Navigate to www.kenhub.com on your Google Chrome mobile browser. Click on the three grey vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. You will see a drop down menu. Click on “Home screen”. 
  3. Confirm your choice by clicking “Add” on the box that appears.
  4. The Kenhub app should now display on your home screen. This may take a few moments.

Opera

  1. Navigate to www.kenhub.com on your Opera mobile browser. Click on the three grey vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen.
  2. From the drop down menu, click on “Home screen”. 
  3. A pop-up will appear, giving you the option to customize the name you want to save the app under. Confirm your choice by clicking “Add”.
  4. Another pop-up will appear, allowing you to choose how to install the app. Drag the Kenhub logo to place it in a specific spot on your home screen, or click “Add”, which will automatically place it last on your list of home screen applications.

Firefox

  1. Navigate to www.kenhub.com on your Firefox mobile browser. Click on the house logo with a plus sign in the middle, found on the browser bar.
  2. A pop-up will appear. Click “+ add to home screen”.
  3. Another pop-up will appear, allowing you to choose how to install the app. Drag the Kenhub logo to place it in a specific spot on your home screen, or click “Add”, which will automatically place it last on your list of home screen applications.

Guide for iOS devices

On iOS, this feature is only available with the Safari browser. Here’s how to install it.

Safari

  1. Navigate to www.kenhub.com on your Safari browser. At the bottom center of the screen, click on the button with a square icon and arrow pointing upwards.
  2. A list of options will appear. Select “Add to Home screen”.
  3. A pop-up will appear, giving you the option to customize the name you want to save the app under. Confirm your choice and click “Add”.
